That seems to be what HSRs difficulty devolved into, but instead of time limits it has turn limits.

@@MuddyAxolotl Bosses that get new movesets on higher difficulties, having to learn mechanics like weak points or other similar stuff like having attacks that can only be dodged and attacks that can only be parried or even making the combat about just surviving and killing the boss instead of a time trial, there are millions of ways to make difficult combat without just making it a dps check.

I don’t really see a reason to use other characters in the city the mc isn’t even able to fight so it makes sense that the mc can only be used in the city

@@hoppie4263 nope. Some of the reasons why we pull for certain characters is their design, esthetics, and personality. I'd like to use that character whenever I'd like to. Not just combat. It's not a deal breaker, I'll still be playing but I'd like the option and it feels like a step back

It does break the immersion... What is the purpose of Belle and Wise? The majority will not use them if you will get to use your pulled characters. Also, those pulled characters will be around the city or places... As much as I like the idea to have it but I guess for me I would prefer Belle and Wise to be upfront in the city as it make sense they are the proxy. We are not part of any of the factions as we are only being hired if they want too

@@marielgalicha8548 would still prefer the choice. Plus they will still be there for all the story and cutscenes. I see it work just fine in genshin and hsr so I see no reason why it wouldn't be the same for ZZZ. We all still have a connection with Lumine or Stelle (Aether or Caelus) even though most of us probably explore as other characters. Again, not a deal breaker but I'd still prefer it.

That’s why they introduced the new skip feature that allows you to skip story content and go straight into the events (it warns you about it before you do it but idk how far it advances you in the story for a newcomer). Plus, events and standard rewards are not time exclusive, they are PERMANENT so there’s no reason to rush. The only rewards you miss out on are certain limited items like lightcones i believe (silver wolfs free-to-play light cone for example was a truly limited timed reward way back in 1.1 or whatever but stuff like that becomes negligible in the long run) all the important stuff like jades are permanent. HSR is very beginner friendly even for new starters right now so idk what you are talking about.

It is heavily implied in Anby's character profile that there's something up with her past where she's had years of combat training but either doesn't remember or want to talk about it. Soldier 11 acts as a sorta opposite. Anby embraced Nicole's last name and new life. Soldier 11 shed her name and embraced the life she had. Anby likes burgers. 11 likes spicy noodles. Basically I'm trying to say they're purposely meant to parallel each other. And with Anby's past called out on the website as unknown, I do believe the devs are trying to draw attention there's a connection between them. Could be wrong. But I do believe it's more than just a pallet swap. And I would not be surprised if there's a third "sibling" with an ice sword that pops up at some point

Also let's not pretend like there isn't games out there with 12+ Ratings that Sneak in adult/mature themes or have it blatantly there.

Considering that is entirely out of their control and something they would have to do due to their country of origin, it's not exactly an easy thing to do. And it's also worth mentioning that the only people that still cry about it are people that act like the entire game changed, when it is the most forgettable change that they had to do to be compliant with said country
